The 10th annual BlueTech Week organized by BTCA member The Maritime Alliance held on 5-9 Nov. 2018 was our biggest ever with over 550+ attendees at 7 events over 5 days from 16 countries including 150+ speakers and representatives of 140+ companies. We expect the 11th annual BlueTech Week to continue the growth trajectory with an increasing number of representatives of academia, clusters, government, industry, military, NGOs and policy makers from a growing number of countries.
The BTW2019 theme will be "The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Clusters and the Triple Helix." Monday, Nov. 18 will be the 5th annual “by-invitation” BlueTech Cluster Convening; Tuesday will be a one-day conference co-hosted with Scripps Institution of Oceanography on “The Decade of Ocean Science: Promoting Industry & Science Collaboration”; Wednesday-Thursday will be the BlueTech Summit & Tech Expo with multiple tracks on Aquaculture/BioMarine, Maritime Robotics, Offshore Renewable Energy, Water/Wastewater technologies and Workforce Development plus - on Wednesday evening - the 11th annual Maritime Gala Dinner & Award Ceremony; and on Friday, Nov. 22, the 4th annual BlueTech Investor Day.
